Back for a second time, COFEMO comes to us from the Mercedes Olivera Feminist Collective, who work with indigenous women and coffee farmers across the communities of Los Altos De Chiapas. This lot has a smooth, chocolatey mouthfeel with a toffee sweetness and notes of pistachio.
The collective’s work with indigenous women farmers adds real heart to this lot, and you can taste the care in every cup. Sipped it black and the sweetness carried through to the last drop. Wish I’d grabbed two bags before it sold out.
