2回連続の収穫となる、Pitayaをご紹介できることを大変嬉しく思います！こちらは、コロンビアのウイラ地域の生産者によるピンクブルボンブレンドです。このコーヒーは、Minga Coffeeの友人であるLaura氏とWilliam氏が調達しました。同僚のFloro氏とEdinson氏と協力し、この小さなチームが近隣の小規模農家からピンクブルボンのロットを分析・カッピングし、その品種を最もよく表現するブレンドを生み出しています。コロンビアでは実験的な加工法との結びつきが強まっていますが、同国のコーヒーの大半は今も伝統的なウェットミルを使用したウォッシュド製法です。Mingaはクリーンでウォッシュドなコーヒーを称賛することに重点を置き、コロンビアが各収穫期に革新的なコーヒーを数種類提供するだけでなく、さらに多くの可能性を秘めていることを示しています。
The pink bourbon blend from Huila is a total gem—the cup is sweet and round, with a delicate florality that lingers nicely. I’ve brewed it both as a pour-over and in my AeroPress, and each time it’s been a bright, cozy treat. Easily my favorite bag this month.
