Samuel ★★★★★

The bag's origin from that tiny Oaxacan town above the mushroom country gives it a story I can't stop thinking about, and the roast itself carries a quiet, earthy depth that feels true to the land. I brewed it as a pour-over and got a smooth, lingering finish that made me slow down and actually tast

The earthy, mushroom-heavy origin story makes this coffee feel like a little piece of Oaxaca in my cup, even if the town is better known for other things. It’s got a smooth, grounding character that I haven’t found in other bags lately. I’m just sad it’s sold out now, because I’d order another pound

The story behind this one is what sold me—it's from a tiny town better known for mushrooms than beans, which feels like a find. The bag arrived quickly, and the whole setup just gives off that small-batch, hands-on vibe you don't get from big roasters. Glad I grabbed it before it sold out.
